Dad Richard "Hap" Arnold has been an advisor for DeMolay for more than 40 years. He is a holder of many of the honors and awards available from the International Supreme Council including Chevalier, Cross of Honor, and Legion of Honor and is a recipient of the Guild of the Leather Apron for conspicuous service as an advisor to the young men of Southern California Jurisdiction. He is an active member of the International Supreme Council and has served Southern California Jurisdiction as Jurisdiction Dad. He is currently serving as Jurisdiction Executive Director. 
His accomplishments are numerous and his service is far reaching. But most importantly, his love and devotion to The Order of DeMolay are unwavering and without equal.

It is because of Dad Arnold's tireless and long-tenured service to DeMolay that we choose to pay tribute to him by naming this year's membership class in is honor.

The young men and advisors of Southern California DeMolay offer thanks and eternal gratitude to Dad Arnold and look forward to many m ore years of is humor, support, guidance, and love.
