"FIRST RESPONDERS”

"HONORED BY GRAND MASTER"

At the public opening of the Grand Lodge of California, First Responders (Police and Firemen) were honored with the "Grand Master's Medal for Distinguished Service in Public Safety".  The ceremony began with speeches given by guest speakers Mike Brown, Commissioner of the California Highway Patrol and Richard Picciotto, former Battalion Chief of the Fire Department of New York.  He was one of the rescue workers trapped in the rubble after the collapse of the World Trade Center.

When the speakers had finished, all of the First Responders that had gathered on the stage of Grand Lodge and introduced to the audience., were then presented with a beautiful medallion by the Most Worshipful Fredrick L. Sorsabal, Grand Master of Masons in California, along with Commissioner Brown and Chief Picciotto.  The award represents the outstanding service each has contributed to law enforcement, his community, and his lodge.

Included in the group was our own Greg Gabriel, PM, and Sheriff’s Deputy for the County of Los Angeles.

CONGRATULATIONS GREG!
